Almost Too Sharp
I have knives from Wusthof (Classic, Precision), Henckels (Pro/Professional S, 4-Star), Global, and Shun. This is as sharp as any. The PecTec really works as promised--the edge feels like a Japanese knife. It has glided through everything I've cut with ease. I like the length of the 5" Santoku. It's great for smaller vegetable jobs and herbs. The construction is sturdy and the edge is holding nicely.

Vegetable Knife I worth with daily. I know most people consider the nakiri a better substitute for this purpose, but this is the same quality for half the price. You will only need 4 knives in your basic collection and this should definitely be one of them.

Wife uses it a lot
We have a set of Henckels Pro-S which we love but wife gets intimidated but the chef’s knives. This is a better size and weight for her. She really likes this knife for cutting and chopping vegetables. Good purchase.

No Kitchen Should Be Without It
Purchased this knife for our granddaughter. She loves it. We have also used this knife for approximately five years and it is the best knife that we own. It is a very convenient size and can be used for almost everything. When Wusthof offered this knife at a 50% discount, we couldn't resist buying it for another member of the family.

Seems like a very well made kitchen knife.
I have a bunch of Henckel knives and have been happy with them over the 10 years or so that I have had them. I sharpen them twice a year and have been pretty my satisfied. But I have to say, this Wusthof is one sharp blade. Overall build quality is similar to my Henckel's too. I can't get over how sharp this knife is though. I can only hope that it keeps its edge over time. Kind of pricey, but would buy again.

Beautiful
I finally got sick of squishing tomatoes with my sub par knives and went on the hunt for a knife set. I found the great sets too expensive and decided to piece together a set as I have the money. I ordered these two first after much reviewing and am beyond pleased! These knifes feel great in my small hands- I like the weight, grip and especially the sharpness! I hand wash and dry right after use to preserve these beauties and I can't wait to buy more Wusthof knives!
