Giá đỗ cắt bỏ rễ và đầu rồi rửa sạch, để ráo nước. Thơm gọt vỏ, cắt bỏ mắt, chẻ thành những thanh dài có kích thước vừa với máy ép của nhà bạn. Củ sắn gọt vỏ, cắt nhỏ. Lá bạc hà rửa sạch.

Cho lần lượt các nguyên liệu đã sơ chế vào máy ép lấy nước là có thể dùng. Nếu thích dùng lạnh, có thể cho nước ép vào ngăn mát tủ lạnh khoảng 1 tiếng đồng hồ trước khi dùng.
